California Gives You More Ways to Get This Wrong
Jeppson Law, LLP helps California small business owners find and close legal exposure before it turns into a claim. Our California office is in Roseville and we work with businesses across the state. California is one of the most heavily regulated environments in the country for employers and business owners. That is not a complaint, it is a planning fact. Practices that are perfectly fine in most states create real exposure here, and owners frequently do not find out until a former employee, a competitor, or an agency tells them. Almost all of it is manageable in advance. Classification, wage practices, contracts, privacy, and recordkeeping are things you can get right on a Tuesday afternoon with the right guidance, or spend a year and a great deal of money getting wrong. We would rather help you with the Tuesday afternoon version. To talk it through, call our Roseville office at (916) 780-7008, weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific.
Serving business owners in Placer, Sacramento, El Dorado, Yolo, Sutter, and Nevada counties, and throughout California by video.
